Anna lives and works in Suffolk. Her work reflects her love of the natural world around her. She creates richly coloured still life oil paintings often of seasonal flowers from her garden or foraged from the hedgerows, juxtaposed with much loved everyday objects, such as jugs, bowls and vases. Her work demonstrates a deep connection with nature and her immediate surroundings and acts as a visual journal to the changing seasons and the objects she treasures.

Anna studied Fine Art at St Martins school of Art, Ipswich school of Art (BA Hons) and the Royal Drawing School. ​

Beatrice studied illustration at Falmouth College of Art, specialising in drypoint engraving. Her work has always drawn upon the natural world, and her printmaking revolves around species and themes central to conservation. The printing technique she uses and the fact that her prints are individually finished by hand, means that each final image varies slightly in form and colour and is therefore unique.​

Becky is a Suffolk-based artist who specialises in wildlife and animal paintings. Her love of the surrounding countryside and its richness in nature gives huge inspiration to her work. Working primarily in oils and gold leaf, she carefully depicts the birds, animals and insects through close observation. Recently she been looking further afield to study tropical birds.

Based in Wiltshire, Rebecca creates beautiful drawings and sculptures which hold movement, elegance and strength at their core. Her versatile approach ensures that her choice of materials and technique are specific to each piece. ​

Time spent travelling and working in Nepal and India has given Rebecca an unbending respect for the women who live there. Inspired by their elegance and strength in the face of social and environmental hardship, Rebecca has sought to champion them through her drawings.​

With no formal training Pete had the luxury of not knowing what was right or wrong and could both follow and form his own route. He has been inspired in the past by children’s imaginations and how they can take both the artist and viewer anywhere. He is also interested in movement and finding the beauty in things that may originally seem rough or wild. The aim is to create something from its seemingly ordinary beginnings and to take it to the realms of the extraordinary. ​

Painted on reclaimed architects’ drawing boards and desk tops, these paintings have a story and a past from the onset. The works are essentially extensions of the marks and doodles on the wood. They are the thoughts and dreams of what us lucky humans are surrounded by, capable of and striving for.

Tutored by David Tress, Nat has a wealth of experience under his belt. His moody landscapes carefully play on all the senses while also encompassing an overall feeling of place.

Nat has had numerous one man shows including a large solo show at the Minories in Colchester in 2007. His catalogue was graced by the well known author, Ronald Blythe, who wrote the foreword.

Rachel is interested in the state of the human heart and explores these two contrasting emotions through her work. Firstly euphoria, that ever illusive and fleeting feeling we in the western world are constantly chasing but rarely feel, and secondly resignation, the feeling of stillness and clarity, a coming-to-terms with whatever may have gone before.

Her inspiration comes “when something is seen but the remnants of the image remain with you.”

Janet French’s work explores the symbiotic relationship between man and the natural environment. It is important to her that she communicate her interaction with the landscape and does not produce work that is based solely on observation. She expresses this by using materials gathered from her garden and local fields and woodlands which allowed her to develop a technique of transforming leaves and fibres into 'paper'. She is a keen gardener and, as with gardening, she works in tune with the seasons and weather.

She is currently fascinated by the spiritual experience of the effect of light seen through trees. The images in her current body of work are an attempt to encapsulate this and are produced using a variety of printmaking methods including linocuts, woodcuts and screen prints onto paper made from leaves and fibres of local woodland species.

After studying graphic design at Norwich School of Art David ran his own
successful design practice, Visible Edge for 18 years in the City of London. 
He now divides his time between Saffron Walden in Essex
and Walberswick in Suffolk, painting both people and landscapes from life. 
Working in oils, David combines impasto technique with strong graphic composition, striving to capture the movement and changes inherent in plein air painting.

Cazalet grew up in Norfolk. Encouraged by her artist mother, she cultivated an early interest in art.

Prior to undertaking a degree in Fine Art at Newcastle University, Cazalet completed a Foundation Course at Byam Shaw (now a part of St. Martins, UAL) and took a year to study at the prestigious Studio School in New York. Here, the focus was on the figure, but was entirely free from technical restraints.

Her rich and varied studies led her to an apprenticeship at the Sterling Studios, London: a specialist decorator’s workshop – where she explored working with materials – from metals to mirrors, glitter to gold leaf.

These experiences combined and an interest in colour, composition and history and origins of design have led Cazalet to develop a unique style. While her classical training underpins Cazalet’s creative investigations, she longs for the abstract – and these dialogues are evident in her often vibrant and geometric output.

Cazalet takes inspiration from Hockney, Picasso, Peter Doig, Henri Rousseau, Basquiat and Matisse.

A working artist and high school teacher of Art based in Suffolk, Louise bases her work on the local landscapes, with colour, mark making and a range of media being strong characteristics of her work.

Louise’s work responds initially to the absolute here and now of her surroundings with her organic and responsive line drawings of shape and form. Her paintings, from those sketches, then evolve when she returns to those drawings in the studio and they take on Louise's essence at that moment.

Annabel, the Travel/Wildlife artist’s paintings are known worldwide.

She has been artist in residence in Kenya with Jonathan Scott, BBC Big Cat Diary and official artist for Ralph Lauren Children’s stores in China, Hong Kong and New York. She works closely with Conservation and Charity projects. Her work is unique in its spirit and energy, captured from her travels and her knowledge of the subject matter.  She has had numerous Solo and group Exhibitions and commission work range from people’s pets, horse racing, British and African wildlife.

Stephen Henderson is an established British wildlife sculptor.

 His work is inspired by the native shorebirds and fish species of his locality in Essex, together with wildlife observed on holidays and travels abroad.

Each individual piece is sculpted from Cedar, Pine as well as other materials such as salvaged metal and driftwood. Working with themes such as motherhood, courtship and predation, Stephen's work reflects the mannerisms of individual creatures and their personalities. His original and sought-after sculptures may be found in commercial spaces such as hotels and restaurants and in private collections around the world.

Working from her studio at Stepney City Farm, Georgie paints from memories and sketches of places she’s visited. She uses a variety of materials to build texture including polyfilla, mud and beeswax and paints with anything from her fingers to windscreen wipers.  She says, ‘The original vision is usually lost in the process but the end result still encapsulates my memory of the place.  Much of my enjoyment comes from constant experimentation with new ideas and techniques’.

Since graduating in 2015, she has had work accepted into the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Affordable Art Fest in Goa, work shortlisted for the New English Art Club Annual Exhibition and National Open Art Prize and was winner of the Harry Walker Prize at the Bath Society of Artists Annual Exhibition.  She has had six solo shows including at Boston Consulting Group, London, and Lavenham Hall Gallery, Suffolk, and was honoured to be judge of Young Art East Anglia at the Peter Piers Gallery, Aldeburgh. 

Group shows have included ‘Inside Out’ curated by Gavin Turk in Hackney Wick, The Battersea Affordable Art Fairs and regular shows with Cobbold & Judd in Suffolk, and Highgate Contemporary and Foss Fine Art in London. She recently finished a three-month role as artist in residence at Oundle School and her next solo show is at Somerton House in Bath from 16-22nd June.   

Jo grew up in Bury St Edmunds and studied visual art & Spanish at Aberystwyth University before moving to Spain.

Whilst living in Madrid, as part of her degree, she took anatomy, life drawing and painting courses at Universidad de Bellas Artes and subsequently joined the studio of artist and restorer, Paco Pinuela.

On completion of her BA joint honours degree in 1987, Jo returned to Spain and settled in Madrid where she continues working from Paco’s studio in Calle Atocha. She also taught English and later worked in the Madrid office of S.G. Warburg.

In 1994 Jo returned to the UK where she worked in the Exhibitions Department of the Royal Academy of Arts for Norman Rosenthal. She continued attending life drawing classes at Camden Arts Centre

In 1996 Jo retuned to Suffolk where she lives and works from her studio in Honey Tye. She began a framing business in 2012 but continues drawing and exhibiting locally.

Laetitia Corbett is a passionate artist working in the field of fine art, textiles and design.  Her main body of work largely comprises film photography using multiple exposures, layers and textiles but she explores a number of different materials and media. Her unique abstract photography is all taken with a lolography holga camera where she is able to take multiple images on the same piece of film without it moving on.

Georgina Barclay was born in 1978 and brought up in Waldringfield near
Woodbridge. After completing a foundation year in Fine Art at Newcastle University, she spent three years at an Atelier in Florence called the Charles Cecil Studio.

It was in Italy that Georgina fell in love with classical portraiture. She trained in the method and style of the Renaissance Masters and studied sight size techniques of drawing, painting and sculpting from life. Her work has evolved to combine these disciplines with a contemporary freedom of brushwork and colour.

Georgina has completed many commissions, including HRH The Prince Of Wales for The Black Watch and more recently a portrait of the Queen in her Jubilee Year for The Ascot Rehabilitation Hospital.

Having spent 18 years working in London from her Chelsea studio, Georgina has moved back to Suffolk and is working on portraits, landscape and still life in her studio in Waldringfield.

Jeremy Fraser who is based in Suffolk came to painting a bit later in his life. His work could be described as modern abstract and has a forceful impact on the emotions, bursting with colour and unrestrained form. His art adheres to the belief of the American, Richard Diebenkorn, who said ‘Painting is like a stick with figuration on one end and abstraction on the other and one must be free to move up and down the stick when you feel like it’. This concept has suited Jeremy well.  He believes a painting is really just an arrangement of shapes and colours, and if one wanders into abstract territory he feels it is his job to compose the arrangement in a way that satisfies himself as well as his onlooker.
