Louise Craigie
A working artist and high school teacher of Art based in Suffolk, Louise bases her work on the local landscapes, with colour, mark making and a range of media being strong characteristics of her work.
Louise’s work responds initially to the absolute here and now of her surroundings with her organic and responsive line drawings of shape and form. Her paintings, from those sketches, then evolve when she returns to those drawings in the studio and they take on Louise's essence at that moment.
