Its been six weeks since our CocoBelle launch and the CocoBelle team has been working hard on the next CocoBelle event. We were so happy with the success of our September event at Copdock Hall, hugely assisted by the fabulous Wedderburn mother/daughter duo, our incredibly talented artists and our inspirational guest speaker from ‘The Prison Choir Project’. Let's not forget, it couldn't have happened without our CocoBelle guests who helped to create an infectious atmosphere and beautifully ‘sang for their supper’!
With a few weeks to recover and regroup and taking on board the valuable feedback we received, the CocoBelle team has secured our next event at the stunning private location, drum roll please, Boxted Hall, Suffolk on Thursday 28th February. The perfect end of early year resolutions and dry January’s & February’s. Surrounded by a moat and set within 240 acres, Boxted Hall is steeped in history and family heritage and offers the perfect setting for our CocoBelle Winter Warmer.
In addition to finding the perfect venue for our next event, we have also been looking out for some new and exciting local artists. We were in Saffron Walden recently where we saw the stunning works of David Riches who paints heavy oiled scenes all around Essex and Suffolk. Georgina Barclay is another Suffolk artist who we have also secured for our next event. Her diverse work captures the delicate nature of still life as well as the structured lines of the human form. Seeing their works and visiting their studios fills us both with huge excitement for the talent and interest that sits within the counties we live.
Naturally food has been very high on our agenda, hence we have been thoroughly enjoying our meetings with some really exciting chefs. Their creative ideas and mouth watering combinations have done nothing to suppress the appetite - not helpful when meeting on a Monday and promising oneself a healthy start to the week! Sharing our passion for locally sourced ingredients, we’re really excited to already be working on our February menu. We love local and even have our meat being provided by one of guests' organic local estates.
The cocktail is also in hand - yes an essential part of the CocoBelle party. Exact details to be finalised but once again we’re delighted to be using a local supplier for our key ingredient.
As for the all important Guest Speaker, we are utterly thrilled to have secured the most inspiring man, James Shone, whose personal journey led him to start a charity called ‘I can & I am’. James Shone is a leading and inspirational educational speaker, visiting schools to talk to pupils, parents and teachers about his passion to inspire confidence in every individual. We are so pleased to be supporting this fantastic charity at our next event.
Its amazing to think Christmas is just around the corner - too soon for some but not for us - we can't wait to drag out the Christmas boxes and go to town decorating our houses! Before we do though, we’ll be sending out our Winter invitation with details on the event and links to buying tickets. So for now, put the date in your diary and watch this space.

A small PS: We’re not doing round tables this time but long banqueting tables, so guests can bring groups of friends as small or large as they like. Also, our numbers are a little smaller, so don't delay when the invite comes your way!
